About Generations Legacy Project (GLP)

The Generations Legacy Project is a God-inspired vision received by founder Andrew Hefley—an idea divinely guided and brought to life through faith, purpose, and community connection. At its heart, GLP bridges the gap between our elders and youth by pairing them 1:1 to co-author powerful legacy books. Each story captures the wisdom, experiences, and faith-filled lessons of our seniors, offering guidance and light to the next generation.

Through heartfelt interviews, students learn about love, purpose, finances, and the deeper meaning of community—gaining mentorship, life skills, and compassion along the way. Seniors, in turn, find joy, dignity, and renewed purpose as their life lessons are preserved in published books that stand the test of time. These legacy books are printed, celebrated at community events, and shared through local libraries and Amazon KDP, ensuring each voice continues to inspire.

GLP is more than a project—it’s a movement of hearts united across generations. By joining or sponsoring the Generations Legacy Project, you help preserve local history, uplift our elders, and empower our youth with the guidance they need to build a better tomorrow. Together, we are ensuring that every story, every lesson, and every life leaves a lasting legacy.

The Generations Legacy Project envisions a world where wisdom transcends time and generations walk hand in hand. What begins in Baxter County, Arkansas, as our pilot program will grow to reach every county in Arkansas within five years, expanding nationally within ten, and internationally within the next twenty. Guided by faith and community spirit, our mission is to ensure that every senior’s story is told, every youth is inspired, and every community is strengthened through the shared power of legacy.
